Board Additions and Street Epistemology Course Project Update

Two individuals have joined the Street Epistemology International non-profit and a team has completed a detailed Project Charter for the new SE Course Development Project.

5 October 2020

I’m pleased to share that we just added two new provisional Board Members (both from outside the United States) to Street Epistemology International, which should help keep our organization moving along nicely.

We’ll make a more detailed post about our two new additions in the coming weeks.

We also made significant progress on our project to develop a comprehensive course where people will be able to learn Street Epistemology. The Project Managers (one from Canada and one from France) and I created an exceptionally-detailed Project Charter, which was reviewed and approved by the SEI Board.

You can review the Project Charter here and I highly suggest that you do, as it lays out how we envision completing the Course Development Project in a timely manner and in a way that provides value to anyone who takes it. Creating this course in conjunction with members from the SE community will be crucial to its ultimate worth and overall adoption.

If you’ve ever wanted to help build training materials or a course of some kind for Street Epistemology, now is your chance to familiarize yourself with this project and volunteer for a role. You can monitor our team’s progress here on this popular SE Discord Server. We will almost certainly need to compensate some individuals for their efforts on this project as well as other related expenses, and it’s wonderful to have a system in place to help cover those costs, largely supported by your generous donations to Street Epistemology International.

Best regards,

Anthony Magnabosco
