Boosting Servers, More Podcasts, and Street Epistemology Course Updates
We have a lot of exciting Street Epistemology-related projects in the works now, and it probably couldn’t happen without your continued support.

Hello! It’s been a short time since I’ve provided an update, and we have a lot of them!
Course Development. Building a course to teach people how to learn Street Epistemology has always been a goal of mine, and now that we have this non-profit, we can put some major effort toward that end. I spent twelve wildly productive hours over the past few weeks meeting with people from the SE community to discuss how to best create something useful. I’ll be the liaison between Street Epistemology International (SEI) and the Course Development Team, which will likely have two Project Managers, a small (4-5 people) Core Team, and others from the community to help build out all the individual modules. Initially, the course will likely be a web-based application, with an eye on making it available in other formats later. Street Epistemology has always been a community-driven endeavor, and the development of this course will adhere to that philosophy. Watch our progress in the SE Discord Server.
The Street Epistemology Podcast. For history buffs, the SE Podcast (551,443 plays since 2015!) began as a way for people to consume my own personal examples without having to watch a data-consuming video. Over time, I started working in examples from other content creators and rebranded it. After SEI was formed, ownership of the SE Podcast was transferred to the non-profit. I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but we’re seeing a lot more audio and video SE examples, and it’s important to elevate those contributions and show differing styles. Our President Reid Nicewonder will be forming a small team to manage the SE Podcast, which should result in a more consistent release schedule. If helping with the podcast is of interest to you, please reach out to Reid on social media or Discord.
Server Boost. As the SE Community grows, we’ll need scalable social media platforms to grow with us, and Discord seems like it has that flexibility. There are now a handful of SE-themed Discord servers that allow people around the world to text, voice, and video chat, and we’d love to see those continue to thrive. As a result, SEI decided to spend a little money to purchase 10 “boosts” per month for Discord server boosts for the next three months to see if that helps improve functionality. It’s worth reiterating that, while SEI is not involved with the moderation of any of these SE gathering sites, we are very excited to see them thrive.
Board of Directors. We’re still looking for supportive people who share the SE vision to join the Street Epistemology International Board of Directors. Please reach out to me directly if you want to help us grow Street Epistemology and improve the transparency into our efforts.
Social Tribes. While Street Epistemology International does not take public positions on social movements, we are willing to consider providing support to people who want to introduce the tools of Street Epistemology to their tribes. Please use our online form if you would like us to consider your funding request proposal.
Donations. We currently receive monthly contributions via PayPal, Patreon, and AmazonSmile and are in a healthy financial position to support people who are working hard to promote SE. We’ve made financial contributions to content creators and/or promoters of the method over the past few weeks, including the purchase of a new laptop, recording equipment, and internet access fees to facilitate live-streaming events.
That’s about it for this update. Personally, I have about five more videos left to upload before I can shift to other SE-related tasks, like helping with the course development project, creating a new series of short tutorial videos, and perhaps even writing a book.
Best regards,
Anthony Magnabosco
